Coach Mauch on Coaching:

"The craft of coaching requires that three components of development are fostered and balanced. The physical, social and psychological development of the individual and team are essential to creating a successful program at any level.

The physical component involves training to improve the technical, tactical and fitness capability of the players. The social component builds the dedication and commitment to the team, the club and its principles and to the lifestyle standards espoused by society. Psychologically the coach must promote healthy relationships in all areas of life, with consistent emphasis on supporting a quality academic experience."
