We are committed to promoting soccer, fair-play, and fun throughout the city of Fort Wayne, the region, and beyond. Our club has an extensive history, beginning with its German roots. The Club was founded in 1927 by a group of soccer players who had come to Fort Wayne, Indiana from Germany. Their goal was "The Promotion of Soccer Football and German Culture." It has since established itself as one of the most successful Soccer Clubs in the Midwest.
Today, the Sport Club is a hub of soccer activity in the Fort Wayne area, with programs for recreational and competitive soccer players from age 4 years to 30 and over. The Sport Club is represented by competitive youth travel teams in the Indiana Soccer League, NISL, Midwest Regional League, the GIRLS league, and many of the top tournaments in the Indiana and Midwest area. Travel teams offer the opportunity to be trained by some of the best coaches, and experience play at the highest level. The club also has a Spring, Summer, and Fall recreational program that provides a great opportunity to introduce new players to the sport, and to let more experienced players have fun. A commitment to individual players, team development, and families make the Sport Club one of the premier youth sport opportunities in Indiana.
For adult players, the club also has recreational leagues as well as competitive teams. Small sided recreational leagues are offered in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. For more competitive adult teams, the club fields an over 30 team and an A-level adult team. The Sport Club now has 6 private fields in use at its location on Ardmore Road. The fields are full sized, professionally graded, irrigated, and two are lighted. They are some of the best fields in the Midwest to play on which includes the fields under the lights!
